Dolphin Dynamics accelerates tour operator software development following new customer contracts

Travel technology supplier, Dolphin Dynamics, has launched a major new release of its Dolphin travel platform, incorporating significant enhancements to its tour operating module.

The London-based travel software developer says the enhancements have been driven by early-adopters of its tour operating solution.

The latest release of Dolphin it says moves beyond the hotel focus of previous releases in order to deliver support for a complete range of ground products. Providing a far more integrated solution for a variety of niche businesses. Including golfing holiday operators as well as luxury and city breaks specialists with a focus on selling a mix of other ancillary products and extras - in addition to flights and hotels.

Dolphin Dynamics delivers eight new software releases each year, providing frequent opportunities to introduce new functionality requested by customers.

In the next Dolphin release scheduled for late May, 80% of development resource has been invested in new features for its tour operator platform. Reflecting the company’s strategic focus towards further developing this fast-growing area of its business.
