British Airways Trade Fare Explorer on FlightScanner

British Airways integration (UK and Northern Ireland only).

We are very pleased to announce the release of British Airways Trade Fare Explorer on FlightScanner. We have been working with British Airways over the last few months to integrate with British Airways Trade Fare Explorer. The enhanced web-based booking tool available only to UK and N.Ireland travel agents is the replacement system for BAROL.

Registration with Trade Fare Explorer is mandatory in order to have British Airways fares displayed on FlightScanner. Registration can be done online, by branch mangers, via the British Airways trade web site www.batraveltrade.com.

Travel Agents need an IATA or TID number to register for Trade Fare Explorer and after a short post-registration validation period, registered agents are able to make bookings.

Once the user has registered with Trade Fare Explorer and received their login and password details from British Airways, the FlightScanner administrator (per branch) should load the British Airways login and password into FlightScanner.

To do this the administrator should:
1. Sign into FlightScanner and select "administration management."
2. Select "supplier management".
3. Select "British Airways" from the drop down list and enter in the login and password details as supplied by British Airways.

As soon as these details are entered into FlightScanner, all the users for that branch will see British Airways fares integrated in the FlightScanner display and be able to compare the prices in a single screen considerably reducing search time.

Once a British Airways fare is selected, FlightScanner will take the user directly to the booking page on the British Airways Trade Fare Explorer site. FlightScanner currently supports return flight bookings originating in the UK and Ireland.
